Dr. Erin Mariscal (General Dentist)

I am pleased to have this opportunity to tell you about myself. I received my DDS from the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 2003.  Opening my private practice in 2006 fulfilled my life-long dream.  A firm believer in continuing education, I am committed to staying abreast of leading edge dentistry techniques - essential for providing my patients with the highest quality dentistry possible.  I hold numerous association memberships including the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society.  My professional activities include working to provide dental care to underserved children and adults in the U.S. and in Honduras.  Here in Jefferson County, I have worked with the Health Department's "Smiles to Go" program treating underserved school age children in our community.  In 2007, I spent 10 days in Honduras on a medical mission trip providing dental care to patients of all ages who have no access to a dentist. 

On a personal note,  I am married to Marco Mariscal. He teaches German at Kirkwood North Middle School. We have two great kids,  Noah age two and Lucy who was just born in August 2010. We also have a dog, Julia, who is the world's most patient dog.  She is a mutt we adopted from a shelter in 2005.  My hobbies include horseback riding, playing the violin, and trying to learn German.  I also enjoy art--I love painting! I frequently am changing the wall colors and designs at the office.
